The Calisthenics Strength & Mobility skills include movements performed mainly with the load of your body-weight though free weights can be included when appropriate. Skills like the Muscle up, Front and Back lever, Tuck planche, Handstand variations, Pistol squat, various Balance and Jumping skills and endless of movements that explore positions often foreign to the body with or without an external stimulus such as a partner. In this process there’s an emphasis on keeping things simple, not easy. Learning to feel the physical body, and put that together with what the skill looks like when performed, is a fundamental skill to acquire of the physical body and is called ‘Proprioception’ (definition: ability to sense where the body and its limbs are in space/surrounding environment).

Partner Stretching is simply put; Stretching with one or multiple partners to increase flexibility (range of motion) though students might experience additional benefits like feeling more relaxed and being able to move freely with no or less pain, aches and discomforts. The Partner Stretching explores basic knowledge of your body via certain breathing and contract/relax techniques and one could find themselves gaining better awareness, control and improved proprioception (find description in text above) in the process.
